Hey Kids!! Im leaving 4th september!

Hey guys, just stumbled across this forum in my daily checking of things for going away,(becoming a ritual)...
Im leaving on the 4th of septmber from sydney to london... doing europe for two months and then flying to cairo then nairobi!!!
Africa is all ive had eyes for, forever, europe sorta just fell in my lap...
Im travelling alone with kumuka and geckos....
anyone heard anything good/bad about them???
anyone going round this time?

Sounds like you are a tad exited there!! It also sounds like one hell of a trip.

Just a quick note on kumuka and geckos, 2 really good adventure companies that have been around since day naught. If memory serves correctly geckos is either an Australian company or is owned by Australians.

They are both good companies in the Overland sector of the market, as companies they will do their best but always remember that this is Africa and sometimes things do go wrong, if/ when they do grab a beer sit back and enjoy the views and the people ( THIS IS AFRICA).

PS you should have no probs being a single girl on one of these safaris, as you will be moving around as a part of a group all the time.

Enjoy all the late nights, as there will be many (lol).
