A positive thought

hmmmmmmm, seems someone is bitter here.

I did have a good laugh though, maybe charles.steve has a different agenda.

Yes South Africa has it's crime issue's but I do fear that charles.steve is taking a heavy hand here or is completely paranoid - for some reason or another.

Anyways I did decide to post his thoughts on this forum but again they are his thoughts and we must accept that.

Cheers

SA Travel Safety

South Africa is a great country and fairly safe if you follow some rules. We all know it is not Europe or the states. There are some great Tourist Safety Guides @ www.touristsafetysouthafrica.com that will show you all the tips of what to do and what not to do in all your aspects of travel in SA. There are many places that give tips but the travel guides there have pulled it all together. I found it quite comprehensive

I think it is better to get some tips for travelling in SA and have only good memories of this great country than be ignore spoil your ultimate trip!

Good Luck......

Hi everyone, i'm from SA and yeah we have a problem with crime as does every country in the world, but that should not stop you from comming here. Our government is very proactive in the fight against crime and our safety statistics have improved. If you are visiting SA and you wish to visit an unknown area it is best to contact the tourist centre of the area and request a local guide to accompany you into that area. I do it for a living. I accompany tourists into the townships of Cape Town because I know where the no go areas are and the tourists love it.
